About Us

We have been farming here for four generations, great grandfather starting with just a handful of cows.

Our pop-up campsite gives us a great opportunity to share the beautiful views and environment with the public.  It has a long history of tented occupation, as it was used as an army camp for US Soldiers during the First World War!

THE FARM

The Farm is located in the Frome Valley, within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Most of our land is dedicated to grass for grazing our cattle, with some used to grow crops to feed the cattle.

We milk the cows twice a day, 365 days of the year!

Our milk is sold to a farmer-owned co-operative, for drinking, and making into cheese and butter.

Much of the farm is in environmental stewardship, meaning we farm it sensitively to encourage certain habitats, including special flowers, grasses, reptiles and birds.

“I had rather be on my farm than be emperor of the world" - George Washington
